

Tie Break Tens (TB10) partnered with the LTA and the WTA Future Stars programme with the shared objective of encouraging participation in tennis as well as raising awareness of the game amongst the younger female demographic.
This joint initiative was run throughout Summer and Autumn 2019, aimed at girls aged between 14-16 years old. TB10 and the LTA ran tournaments across the UK with the finals taking place at the National Tennis Centre, London in October 2019. The prize for 2 lucky winners was the trip of a lifetime out to Shenzhen, China to take part in the prestigious WTA Future Stars programme with some of the best female players from around the world.



In total over 500 girls participated in our tournaments with 24 finalists at the National Tennis Centre. Our two winners were Rosie Sterk (Bridge of Allan, 16) and Roisin Boyd (Leicester, 13) Rosie and Roisin were flown to China to take part in the WTA Future Stars programme ahead of the WTA Tour Finals where they got to meet global stars including Ashleigh Barty, Bianca Andreescu and Naomi Osaka.
The winners were also presented with the TB10 Challenger trophy, a Babolat racket and adidas clothing.
